This year marked the 70th anniversary of the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity – the prestigious annual event that celebrates innovation and brilliance in advertising and creative communications – and what a celebration it was.  

Driving Reputation through Creativity and Purpose 

For forward-thinking businesses with a strong creative purpose, Cannes presents a vital opportunity to bolster reputation. Mars Snacking, a leading player in the industry, submitted 13 creative campaigns across eight iconic brands, including M&M’S®, SNICKERS®, TWIX®, Skittles®, STARBURST®, EXTRA®, 5™GUM, and CELEBRATIONS. The focus of these campaigns was to create content that resonates meaningfully with consumers, sparking delight in their hearts. 

Outstanding Achievements and Awards 

The efforts invested by Mars Snacking resulted in impressive recognition, with four campaigns from M&M’S®, Skittles®, TWIX® and EXTRA®/Orbit® shortlisted a total of 15 times. This effort culminated in the prestigious achievement of bringing home three Gold Lions, one Silver Lion, and three Bronze Lions. Let's take a closer look at the exceptional campaigns:
